Ascent by ferrata to Lisca (948 m)

If you like hiking, adrenaline, and a beautiful view from the top of the mountains, and also have a little courage and physical condition, then I suggest a great climbing trip by ferrata to the top of Lisca (948 m).

The starting point is the town of Sevnica, from which you need to turn towards mountain Sevnica and then continue to the village of Cerje (640 m). Park your car in the spacious parking lot because you can continue on foot, and there are road signs. After about twenty minutes of walking, you arrive under the ridge of Lisca. Here, the most difficult part of the 123 m height difference in five sections with an average difficulty of D/E begins. After the ferrata, the trail leads to Tonček’s home (927 m), where you can eat and drink, enjoy the view, and rest.

Then you continue to the top of Lisca, from where you can see the Julian Alps, Karavanke, Kamniško Savinjske Alps, Zagreb, and the nearby hills. Back you can choose to go down an easier mountain path. The height difference is 308 meters, and the entire trail can be completed in 45 minutes.

CAUTION! For this kind of climb, you need to have the right equipment, belay kit, and helmet, and be very careful. You can always give up the ascent via ferrata and choose an easier route.
