A new festival is coming to Komiža at the end of summer

Pachakutiq Festival is a new summer music festival that is held for the first time on the beautiful beach of Kamenice in Komiža on the island of Vis.

The festival is dedicated to nature conservation, ecology, and sustainable development with an emphasis on the protection of mountain gorillas, and the organizer announces that 10% of the revenue from the tickets will be paid to the International Gorilla Conservation Foundation.

And the trademark of the festival is the gorilla sculpture made by Marina Stoponja.

 

 

More than 20 DJs have been announced for the four days of the festival, who will entertain the crowd with the rhythm of house, techno, and experimental sounds.

Each festival night brings one headliner, so the first night is led by DJ Jock, the second by Fernanda Pistelli, the third by Tobi Neumann, and the final night by Terry Francis. Here is the entire lineup.
