Brunch or breakfast in Dubai? Arrows and Sparrows is the place to be!

For many years I lived in one of the world’s main trendsetters, a city that rarely sleeps and is known for holding records in almost every form in nearly every sense, from the tallest buildings to the best amusement parks.

Although I decided to return to Croatia completely two years ago, I am happy to return to my “second home” and explore its newest attractions.

Every day something new is opened or a new offer is introduced in Dubai. It is quite possible that even though a place has been open for years, you have not heard of it yet. The city is huge, and the only way to explore everything is to make it part of your job. However, some places leave a special impression. Considering how many people travel to this part of the world, I’m sure any recommendation would come in handy.

This time, I want to introduce you to a great place for breakfast or brunch.

It is about Arrows & Sparrows cafe/bistro, located near the famous Palm Jumeirah, more precisely in The Greens district, right next to the main thoroughfare Sheikh Zayed Road.

This small, hidden place surrounded by greenery stands out for its rich offer of breakfast, sandwiches, salads, various types of pasta, excellent freshly squeezed juices, and hot and cold coffees and teas.

By chance, the path led me to their small “garden” and modernly decorated space, and since it was in the early morning hours, breakfast was a logical choice. Immediately upon arrival, the waiter greeted us with a big welcome, brought the menu, and asked how we were and if we wanted something to drink while we chose. As for the service, I have no complaints – they never took the smile off their faces.

In the end, I decided on a sandwich with salmon, cream cheese, eggs, and avocado, while my partner chose a combination of mozzarella, avocado, poached eggs, arugula, parmesan lemon, and honey dressing.

The amount of varied and fresh ingredients in each sandwich is really impressive, so I believe it will satisfy everyone’s palate. The food disappeared from the plate faster than it arrived – besides looking tempting, as you can see in the photos, it is equally delicious. In my opinion, the price-quality ratio is excellent.

The whole breakfast, including coffee and juice, cost us 38 euros, and when we compare it to Croatian prices, it is very affordable for Dubai, especially considering the amount of food on the plate.

All in all, Arrows & Sparrows has my recommendation. If your trip brings you to the Emirates, be sure to visit it!
