Cycling around Krvavec

Autumn is just beginning, there is no snow in sight yet, so it is the right time for cycling on the ski slopes of Krvavec, only 25 kilometers from Ljubljana.

The Krvavec Bike Park can brag with 27 km of marked trails, of which 16 km are downhill, and the biggest height difference among Slovenian parks. In order to get to the top (1850 meters), you attach the bikes to the gondola of the cable car and enjoy.

You don’t have a bike, or you think it’s not good enough for cycling down from the peaks of Krvavec? No problem, because you can rent it on the spot. They also have protectors and helmets because without them there is no safe descent.

Bike park Krvavec has 6 marked mountain bike trails. It offers rides for all tastes and levels of cycling experience with excellent trails: Rock’n’flow, Muci, Bambino, Panorama, and Jezerca, which connects the top of the bike park with the Muci trail.

After enjoying the rides, I suggest you have dinner in the gondola while riding the cable car, it’s a specialty you shouldn’t miss. Just imagine how fun it is while you look at the beautiful scenery, and the waiter brings you a new order of dishes at the intermediate station!… Enjoy…
