Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia, only 60 km from Vienna, and if you didn’t know before the First World War, its suburbs were connected to Bratislava by an electric tram. On the eastern bank of the Danube is the famous historical core, and on the western bank is the modern part of the city.

As the center of centuries-old culture, Bratislava abounds in numerous cultural and historical buildings that you can explore, most of which are located in the old part of the city, which is the main venue for rich cultural events throughout the year.
So, you can buy a return plane ticket from Zagreb to Bratislava from 28 euros, here I have chosen the date from July 1 to 4 as an example, but of course, you can go on other dates as well. You can look for affordable accommodation in one of the numerous apartments, and you can rent a car on-site or explore Bratislava even better by public transport.
Take care that extra luggage on the plane increases the price of the ticket, but for three days, a backpack on your back, good company and a little courage are enough. Is it?
