Guesthouse Putniku welcomes everyone with open arms

Work has taken me to Rijeka intensively for the past two months, and I mostly solved the problem of hunger at the Guesthouse Putniku in Grobnik.

This family restaurant has had no problems with filling tables for years, and it is not uncommon to wait for a place at the table to become free.

Putnik restaurant is a really interesting place. No, it’s not one of those fancy-schmancy places where the portions are small and expensive, and the chef is a famous name, but quite the opposite. When you are hungry, you want to eat something decent and fast, and at the same time pay normal prices, then your choice should be the same as mine.

I parked my car in front of this restaurant four times in two months and every time it was full, and I could see from the license plates that there were guests from all over the place.

For this post, I singled out a lunch where there was one ready-made dish and one made to order, and for which we waited at most 20 minutes before it arrived on the table.

My choice was gnocchi in beef stew, and the editor-in-chief of the Adria fun portal, Paula, chose hake with a mixed salad.

The food was plentiful and tasty, and the price for the food plus one beer and 0.5-liter mineral water was 26.80 euros, which is more than acceptable.

If you’re looking for plenty and a bargain, then definitely stop at Putniku, because I believe you’ll be satisfied with the ratio of the money invested and what you’ll get on the table.
