It’s time for Krk music fest 2023

The city of Krk, located on the island of the same name, is a true little treasure in the northern Adriatic. Its history dates back to ancient times, and the city of Krk is known for its archaeological sites, cultural and historical landmarks, and the beautiful nature that surrounds it.

Krk is also known for one of the most anticipated events, the Krk Music Fest, which will host numerous famous musicians and dancers this year and will be joined again by the Food Truck Festival, which will arrive in Krk on June 19.

Krk Music Fest starts on June 21 because it is dedicated to World Music Day and the welcome of summer, and the Krk City Band is in charge of opening the festival on the waterfront. After them, Ricardo Luque and Amigos will perform at the same location, and the day will end with a Cabaret show. On the same day, the folklore society Poljica will perform on Vela placa, and there will also be a concert by the participants of the association Kreativni Krk. Visitors to the Krk Glagolitic Square will be entertained by the Acoustic Project as part of the opening of the 67th Summer Events.

The performance of the folklore society Vrh is scheduled for June 22 at Vela placa, and they will be followed by DJ Sax Live. On the Vela placa square, participants of the association of Muzika u koracima (MOOK) will also hold a concert that day, and youth choir Josip Kaplan will show their singing skills on the same square.

The highlight of the day will be the performance of the band Queen Sensation, whose sound and energetic performance are certainly reminiscent of the famous British band, and on the Krk waterfront, they will revive the unforgettable hits of the band, which has permanently entered the history of the most important rock bands of all time. On the last day of the music festival, June 23, the Kornić Folklore Society will perform on Vela Plaka, while popular musicians from the group Meritas will provide a pleasant atmosphere on the waterfront and one of the most beautiful male vocalists of Croatian music will take care of the very end of the festival, a multiple winner of the Porin award, Marko Tolja. Accompanied by the ensemble, he will hold a special concert program “Dear Mr. Sinatra” in the desire to awaken the golden age of Hollywood glamor in all visitors.

The attractive Krk Music Fest event will be enhanced this year with one of the most popular street food concepts – the Food Truck Festival, which starts on the 19th and lasts until the 26th of June and takes place on the Krk seafront.
