Let’s go to Štrudlafest: three days of the sweetest strudel tasting!
In Jaškovo, about 14 kilometers away from the city of Karlovac, in 2015, a Guinness record for the longest strudel in the world has been set. In order to celebrate this, in 2016, a festival called Štrudlafest was started.
Štrudlafest, now already the 8th edition, which will happen from September 1st until 3rd, is one of the most known gastronomic events in the Karlovac region and in the whole of Croatia. The festival, besides the promotion of strudel making, promotes the traditional cuisine of this region and its tourist offer which you can also experience through Strudel Week in Karlovac County which is happening from August 28th until September 10th.
