Lunch on the Split waterfront!

Beautiful autumn days took me again to Split, which at the beginning of October was still bathed in sunshine and a temperature of 25 degrees.

Being hungry, I decided to have lunch on the Split waterfront itself, where there were noticeably fewer tourists than at the end of September during Split Underground, a festival of wine, delicacies, and entertainment organized by our portal.

Of course, there are many restaurants on the waterfront, so I first walked along the entire waterfront and decided that I would have lunch at the one that visually appealed to me the most.

The choice was not easy, but in the end, I decided to sit down at the restaurant Adriana, approximately in the second half of the waterfront towards Prokurative. I liked the chairs there the most.

There was no crowd, as can be seen from the attached picture.

The waiter soon brought the menu, and I very quickly gave up on the original idea of having black risotto for lunch, so I decided on veal medallions in mushroom sauce with rice and mashed potatoes.

While I was waiting for my meal, I enjoyed the view of the sea and passed the time with “herbal medicine”. The dish arrived soon, and for its quantity and taste, I would rate it as average.

The price of the medallion is 28 euros, the 0.33 Krombacher beer is 5 euros each, and the rakija is 3.5 euros. It would be considered an average price for the Split waterfront, although it could hardly be called good value for money.
