On the occasion of its 75th birthday, Plitvice National Park is extending the winter season until April 8.

If you haven’t yet had the opportunity to experience the beautiful beauty of the Plitvice Lakes and take advantage of lower prices during the winter season, now is the perfect opportunity.

This year, Plitvice National Park celebrates its 75th birthday, and on the occasion of the celebration, they decided to extend the season for an additional eight days, i.e. until April 8.

Recognizable for its 78-meter waterfall and beautiful emerald lakes, Plitvice National Park covers an area of 29,685 hectares, of which 200 ha are lakes and 13,320 ha are forests.

This beautiful, largest Croatian national park received its official national park status on April 8, 1949.

 

A favorite among locals and tourists alike, this park is visited by several million people every year.

And to make things even better, in addition to the promotional week that will last from April 1st to April 8th, this year Plitvice National Park also marks the 45th anniversary of UNESCO placing this magical place on the World Heritage List. Due to this, the winter season will start a little earlier, and thus the promotional week from October 26 to November 3, 2024.

Tickets must be purchased online, and the price in promotional weeks will be 10 euros for adults, 6 euros for students, 4 euros for children from 7 to 18 years old, and for children under 7 years old and persons
with disabilities (over 50%) the entry will be free of charge.
