Grunas waterfall, also known as Theth waterfall, is located southeast of the village of the same name, in the very heart of the national park, and is one of the most impressive natural phenomena in the region. About 30 meters high, this waterfall provides a spectacular sight as the water cascades violently down the cliffs, creating a refreshing mist that cools visitors after the hike.
It is responsible for the river Theth, which is formed by the melting of a huge amount of snow from Mount Boshit, then joins the river Shala and travels north together.

The trail leading to the waterfall starts in the village, which is an attraction in itself. On the path that leads you to the waterfall, you will pass through lush forests and past crystal clear water, and enjoy incredible views of the surrounding mountains.
Every passer-by falls in love with it because it is accessible, not too long or too demanding. The most demanding part is only the last part towards the waterfall because it has a small climb, so it would be wise to have appropriate footwear.
It is suitable for families with children and all those who want to enjoy the natural beauty without too much effort, and at the end of the trail, there is a reward waiting for you – a view of the mighty Grunas waterfall!
Grunas waterfall is not only its natural beauty but also a place where peace and silence prevail, while the sound of falling water, fresh air, and greenery surrounds you. Many visitors take the opportunity to have a picnic to enjoy and have a good rest before returning to the village where you can still explore its other beauties that contribute to the diversity of this area.
