Propaganda bar: cafe bar in the center of Nikšić

Thirsty after the climb to Bedem fortress in Nikšić, we looked for a place with proper refreshments. Heading down to Freedom Square (mng. Trg Slobode) we came across an impressive bar with an interesting name, and even more interesting decor.

Next to all the cafés and restaurants that are located in this main square, we couldn’t say no to the Propaganda bar. First and foremost, the exterior decor. It impressed us the second we reached the first corner of the square. The umbrellas above us and the trees that surround it created a perfect shade from the midday sun. Here are photos so you can see it yourself.

Next is the interior, in case you decide to completely hide inside, or enjoy a warm drink in winter, which is tip-top!  The art on the walls and vintage furniture give a soul to this place.

And of course, the most importantly, the offer. Propaganda bar, besides the regular common drinks, offers a variety of cocktails perfect for summer nights while listening to some good live music. This time we drank Turkish coffee, nice refreshing peach iced tea, and a cold Nikšićko beer.  ahhh.. perfection for a hot day. The staff itself was also pretty quick and polite.

When it comes to pricing, it was pretty fair. Not too expensive, at least for us as we are used to Croatian pricing. Coffee was 2.20 euros each, half a liter of Nikšičko beer was 2.60 euros, and iced tea with soda was 1.80 euros each, making a total of 8.30 euros.

At the end, we would just like to say that this might be one of the best we visited on Adria tour and we can’t wait to visit Propaganda bar again! If you are passing by make sure you check it out, it is Adria.fun approved! 🙂
