The culture of merging holidays

One of the already standard lifestyle habits in the countries of the Adriatic region is merging holidays with weekends, to get more free days and time when you don’t go to work.

You already know how it works. You look at the calendar, and if a holiday falls on a Thursday or Tuesday during the year, it is almost automatically combined with the weekend in order to get four non-working days. And then everyone with their plans and company uses that extra time (extended weekend) for entertainment, travel, or rest.

There is even a website by an unknown author that automatically shows the number of possible combinations of holidays with weekends, not only for this year but until the year 2091!!!

The author made so much effort that it has a holiday efficiency scale for each year, like an energy efficiency table! 🙂

Well, since that’s the case, at the first opportunity to connect, let’s all have a good barbecue!
