They say that Gjipe is one of the most beautiful beaches in Albania!

Gjipe beach (al. Plazhi i Gjipesë) is located in the south of Albania, near the village of Ilias, about two and a half hours drive from Tirana.

This beach is truly one of the most hidden gems on the Albanian Riviera. Many say that it is one of the most beautiful in Albania. I don’t believe it until I see it with my own eyes, I would say

Here’s why you should still visit it:

  • Unspoiled nature: Gjipe beach is located in the transition zone between the Adriatic and Ionian seas. Since it’s hidden at the bottom of the canyon, the beach is only accessible on foot, which means you’ll have to walk a bit, but trust me, it’s worth it. The canyon is an important natural area and home to numerous endemic species. Here you will experience untouched nature and one of the best views of the Albanian coast.

  • Crystal clear sea: Gjipe beach has small pebble stones and a turquoise blue, crystal clear sea. It is ideal for swimming and relaxing. You can also rent a kayak or even camp on this beautiful beach.

  • Seclusion and peace: Since it is more difficult to find an untouched beach on the Mediterranean and Adriatic seas, Gjipe is a true paradise for nature lovers. Here you will feel as if you are far away from the world, and the sight of the pebble beach and crystal clear sea will leave you breathless.

I do miracles right away, but the impossible still takes me a little time!
