To Vršič on a bicycle
If you enjoy cycling and love serious challenges, then maybe it’s time to consider signing up for the 44th in a row Juriš na Vršič! It is scheduled for September 2nd this year!

Juriš na Vršič is not only a race, but also a traditional gathering of friends, families, couples… Competitors will start the track in a group at 11 a.m. from the starting point below the ski resort in Kranjska Gora.
The start in Kranjska Gora is at an altitude of 810 meters, and the finish line is at the top of the Vršič pass, at an altitude of 1,611 meters. The length of the track is 13.5 kilometers with an elevation difference of 801 meters, with a maximum slope of 10.8% and an average of 7.25%.

Timing will be done with electronic chips that the registrants will pick up when collecting their starting numbers on the day of the competition from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the “Ramada & Suite Resort Kranjska Gora” (ex Hotel Prisank) in the center of Kranjska Gora. The organizers remind the competitors that after the start there will be a “warm-up” ride to the flying start at the Hotel “Best Western” in a tight line.
Pre-registration is possible only through electronic registration on the website www.jurisnavrsic.com, approximately from July 1, 2023, to August 29, 2023. The price of the entry fee is 22 euros, and on the day of the race, 30 euros.
