What a wacky combination. Festival of beer and flowers!

For almost 60 years, Laško has been the scene of one of the biggest Slovenian summer events – the Festival of Beer and Flowers, with diverse musical and cultural events and, of course, beer and meeting the brewers.

During the three-day festival, which this year is being held for the 58th time, the city of Laško is also marked in flowers. Various events take place on the squares and streets of the old town and on two stages.

An unforgettable musical experience is also offered this year by an excellent Slovenian “line-up”, and it is also possible to camp in the camp Jagoče by the river Savinja.

You will certainly not be hungry or thirsty and prepare yourself for huge crowds, which this festival has had for years. 🙂

The Festival of beer and flowers (Festival Pivo in cvetje) takes place from July 14 to 17, and if you haven’t been yet, this is a good reminder to do it this year!
