For those who like Traminac, here is an excellent opportunity for tasting as many as forty wines
After a shy start five years ago and a two-year drag through the roadless corona, the Traminac Festival will experience its sixth edition on June 7 and 8.
The venue is still in Ilok, just as the main components of the Festival, the Gala Dinner, the Workshop, and the Traminac Tasting have returned to their beginnings – the fairytale Principovac and the mystical Old Cellar of the Ilokčki podrumi, as well as the Brnjaković Manor (Kurija Brnjaković).

This year’s “selection” of the gastronomic part of the Traminac Festival, the gala dinner that will be held on June 7 at Principovac, will be Deni Srdoč, the youngest and only Croatian chef who has earned a Michelin star for as many as two restaurants where he has cooked.
Deni’s gastronomic magic will be accompanied by a representation of traminac from Iločki podrumi, Mladen Papak, Vera and Rober Zima, and Dinko Dragun.

Lovers of traminac and chocolate will have their fair share of fun at the workshop of Steve “El Bahatti” Kahlina and Sanja Vladović, i.e. the Taman Artisan Chocolates, where their treats will be paired with the predicates of Iločki podrumi.
We can also call the workshop where Aleš Winkler will pair his Kumparička goat cheeses and different traminac from Papak Winery a special treat.

Lectures will also be held by Slavko Kalazić, Zoran Dragoljević Žorž, Petar Kocijan, Danilo Steyer, and Horst Hummel, a lawyer from Berlin who produces wines in Villany, with whom he enjoys a great reputation among an increasing number of wine lovers without any interventionism in the vineyard and cellar, will also arrive.
At the Traminac Festival, the Slovenian winery Radgonska Gorica, known mostly for its “penins“, but also for its traminac with a black label, “black traminac”, which it sells annually in more than 100,000 bottles, will be presented.

After a marathon tasting of almost 40 wines at various workshops, an exhibition of traminac, Traminac Tasting, as well as other wines produced by winemakers who have traminac in their offer, follows in the courtyard of the Old Cellar.
DJ Zoran Pezo will ensure a good mood and a group of brilliant musicians gathered in the band FilmMusicOrkestar will also perform in concert.
The ticket for the Traminac Tasting is 15 euros, and the ticket includes a refundable deposit of 5 euros for a glass and unlimited tasting of all the wines displayed at the stands. The ticket for the dinner and all the workshops, which include lunch, is 100 euros. The number of places is limited, so hurry up with your reservations!
