A restaurant with a view worth a million euros
At the confluence of the Tara and Piva rivers, which then form the Drina, above the bridge that resembles the wooden bridge from the cult movie Who’s Singin’ Over There?, in Scepan polje (Šćepan polje), right next to the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina, is the restaurant Blue River Tara.

It was a three-hour ride from Sarajevo, and the road was still tolerable until Foča, and then 25 kilometers of hell followed. It’s a narrow road, there’s a pothole on a pothole, part of the road is made of macadam, and part of the road is under construction, and it’s crowded as if something was being shared for free.
All that was quickly forgotten when the fragrant of mixed meat for two and chicken in a tortilla arrived on the table. First, we wondered for ten minutes who could eat such a large portion, and the nice waiter said that he would bring us more if needed. Then the battle started.

I admit, we lost the battle. Along the way, I fed pieces of meat to a puppy who came for a visit. We didn’t eat everything, but that’s why the dishes were very tasty, the restaurant is relatively clean and tidy, and the service is impeccable.

The best was yet to come when the bill arrived. I paid only 35.20 euros for two plum rakias, two large beers on tap, one cola, one bottle of sparkling water, and the food I listed previously. Guys, I highly recommend this restaurant because you won’t regret it. Worth every cent.
