Dajti rises east of Tirana, the capital of this very interesting country. Its highest height reaches 1,613 meters, while several peaks extend in this massif. The most famous are Maja e Tujanit and Maja e Dajtit, from which there are fantastic views of Tirana and the Adriatic Sea in the distance, and because of its proximity to the capital, Dajti is an extremely popular destination for day trips.

Dajti National Park covers over 29,000 hectares and is home to diverse plant and animal species. This mountain is covered with dense beech and oak forests, while in the higher areas, you can find pines and rare alpine plants.
