Vintgar Canyon, also known as Blejski Vintgar, is 1.6 kilometers long, and the canyon walls are 50 to 100 meters high, with a total slope of about 250 meters.

The Radovna River has created numerous erosive features such as pools and rapids and ends with the picturesque Šum waterfall, 13 meters high.
