Goransko lake invites you to go on a trip and enjoy!

The Goransko lake is only 8 kilometers from Doboj in the direction of Petrovo, so it is adored by pedestrians, recreationists, and motorized guests.

This artificial lake is located on the Ozren mountain, it is beautifully landscaped and was created by the construction of a dam on the Jošava stream.

The lake is located at 190 meters above sea level, it is about 200 meters long and 50 meters wide. The average depth of the lake is 5 meters, and it got its name from the initiative of the “Gorana” movement, which reforested this area.

This oasis of peace is surrounded by a dense pine forest, which provides a feeling of freshness at every moment, even on the hottest summer days, when the lake is full of bathers and hikers. In winter, it gives an unprecedented idyll that you have to experience for yourself, of course when there is snow like in this picture.

Goransko lake is a wonderful complex for relaxation and recreation, which also includes a footpath to the nearby sports and recreation center Preslica, places for barbecues and camping, as well as a restaurant and a children’s playground.

I recommend visiting Goransko lake during the week, because on weekends, during the summer heat, it’s hard to find your little corner of the universe that someone hasn’t already occupied.
