As the road often takes me to Rijeka these days, work around the RIJEKA UNDERGROUND festival brought me to the HIDDEN wine bistro, only fifty meters from Korzo and the Tunnel Ri, in the very center of Rijeka, at Andrije Medulića 8.

HIDDEN has been open for just over a year and has already become a favorite destination for wine enthusiasts and food lovers in Rijeka and the surrounding area.

It was opened by top chef Deni Srdoč, owner of the Michelin star awarded to the restaurant Nebo, where he worked until recently. Deni is not alone because his top team is completed, among others, by chef Željko Vukičević and manager Josip Nedić.

At HIDDEN you can enjoy exceptional and imaginative cuisine, with a fun philosophy of sharing food. Plates are placed centrally on the table, and then guests share delicious portions.

The food is based on the zero waste concept, which means that they work on the full use of food that they procure fresh from local OPGs. 🙂

The menu is therefore often adapted to seasonal ingredients and thus follows nature and the best that it offers us.

The summer menu has just been designed and presented, which includes, among other things, superb bites of beef summer tartare, Adriatic tuna, Drni prosciutto, zucchini flowers, rotolo paste, dry age steak or white fish fillet.

The wine list is even better! There is something from all over the world, just as it befits this renowned wine bistro.

It took me a long time to study it, so I suggest that you explore it yourself, because only by tasting it, unforgettable moments of pairing top-quality food and sipping selected wines are created.
