Karlovac Beer Days: a combination of beer, food and entertainment

Are you a fan of excellent beer, amazing food, and even better entertainment? If the answer is YES, YES, and more YES, then you better head towards Karlovac as fast as you can, because the City of Karlovac is preparing an event of the summer!

Karlovac Beer Days is the longest-running Croatian beer festival with a tradition dating back to 1984. and it lasts for 5 executive days. This year’s event will happen from August 25th until 29th, so make sure to find yourself nearby the city on four rivers.

Every year organizers make sure that visitors have the best offering and so it will be this year as well. Of course, the most important offer is the beer offer. Besides the main sponsor of the festival, Karlovačko, you will be able to try 14 different famous brands and craft beers from Medvedgrad and Podrum breweries.

But what is a beer without its appropriate snacks?  At the Karlovac Beer Days,  you will also get to try different beer-based recipes, pretzels, and many other things in the Gastro Corner. Apart from finger-licking food and snacks, in Gastro Corner, you can also learn more about the history and production of beer in workshops. Or even better, visit the Karlovačko Brewery to see it yourself on August 25th and it is open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

And after we drank well, and ate well, we need some entertainment as well. For this year’s event, the top performers are as follows:

• 25.8.- Miach and Parni Valjak
• 26.8 – Belfast Food, Grše, and Psihomodo Pop.
• 27.8.- DJECA!, Kojoti,  and Opća opasnost
• 28.8 – Detour and Dalmatino
• 29.8 – Mirna Škrgatić and Nina Badrić

On the stage in the Gastro Corner, the program will start at 5 p.m., and over the course of five days, Strings band, Black&White,  Rivers band, Mariachi – Los Caballeros, and Brown Sugar will perform.
