Lipa cave – a natural phenomenon of Montenegro
The Lipa cave is one of the most attractive natural sights in Montenegro, which offers visitors an unforgettable experience of the underground world.
The cave is located near Cetinje, the capital of Montenegrin culture and history, and has been open to the public since 2015.

Lipa Cave is a protected natural asset, which extends over more than 2.5 kilometers of tunnels, passages, halls, and galleries, decorated with various stalagmites and stalactites.
The cave was discovered back in the 19th century and was explored by numerous renowned speleologists, including members of the Petrović dynasty.

The cave is arranged according to the highest standards of environmental protection and valorization of speleological objects, and visits are carried out accompanied by trained guides, who tell interesting stories about the origin and discovery of the cave.
Visitors can choose between two types of tours: standard and adventure.
The standard tour lasts about 60 minutes and includes the main part of the cave, which is illuminated and equipped with paths. The entrance fee for adults is €14.90, €2 for children up to 5 years old, €8.90 for children aged 5-15, and €39.90 for a family (2 adults + up to 3 kids aged up to 15).
The adventure tour lasts about 2 hours and takes visitors through unexplored parts of the cave, where you can see rare and unusual cave decorations. Special equipment and clothing are required for this tour. The entrance fee for adults is €50, €25 for children aged 5-15, and €125 for a family. You must register for this tour via the email address tickets@lipa-cave.me.
The Lipa cave is an ideal place to cool off during the summer months when the temperature in the cave is around 10 degrees. The cave is also suitable for visiting during rainy days when you can enjoy its mystical ambiance. It is easily accessible by car, and nearby is a park with a playground for children, a souvenir shop, and a cafe.

The Lipa cave is one of the best attractions to visit in Cetinje, but also in the whole of Montenegro because it represents a unique combination of natural beauty, historical significance, and adventurous spirit.
