This weekend you have to attend the traditional Kostanijada in Ostros

On the old road between Virpazar and Ulcinj, driving along the beautiful Skadar lake and through dense chestnut forests, you will come across the place Ostros, where the 15th Koštanijada (Chestnut Festival) is taking place this weekend.

This authentic manifestation affirms the multi-ethnic character of the municipality of Bar, as well as the rich cultural and touristic offer of Krajina.

Koštanijada is an opportunity to connect and enjoy delicious traditional specialties and roasted and boiled chestnuts.

In addition to chestnuts, other local products will be displayed at the stands in Ostros – cheese, local onions, olives, wild and tame pomegranates, dried figs, rosehip syrup, Japanese apples, and numerous products for which Krajina is recognized.

For all visitors, the organizers have prepared a rich program, which starts on Saturday, October 11, and in which Muzafer Kolići, Merita Bonjaku from Kosovo, Bujar Ćamili, and Zef Beka will perform.
