Fresh mountain air and a stay at Hotel Nomad is a pleasure both in summer and winter

The very thought of staying in the fresh mountain air in the middle of the summer heat appealed to me at first. Even when I saw that the new Hotel Nomad was recently opened, the decision was quickly made and I headed to Bjelasnica, that powerful and magical mountain near Sarajevo!

Driving along the winding road to Babin dol, I thought that it would be good to stay in Bjelasnica for more than one night because the air temperature at 1250 m above sea level is certainly more pleasant than in Sarajevo, but the continuation of the journey was planned in detail and could not be changed. I guess there will be another opportunity…

Babin do is about 25 kilometers from the city center, and the road is excellent. I parked the car in the hotel garage so that it could cool down while I relax on the terrace of my room. When I got out of the elevator, I was impressed by the large and interestingly decorated lobby of the hotel, and the wool caps on the light fixtures caught my attention. Totally original!

The friendly staff at the reception quickly found my reservation and placed me in a modern room, where I couldn’t help but be amazed by the original nightstands, great bathroom and beautiful and harmonious interior.

Hotel Nomad also offered me the opportunity to relax in the spa center, which I, of course, took advantage of, and there was also a fitness room that I only took a picture of this time. 🙂 I can only imagine how great the view from the pool on the ski resort is when it snows.

The next morning I had a hearty breakfast in the hotel restaurant, which had a really varied offer, and then enjoyed drinking coffee with a view of the ski resort on the outdoor terrace.

Oh how the time flies! I already have to go.I reluctantly pack my things and leave the Hotel Nomad with a promise to myself that I will come again. Soon!
