Burger Festival and Street Art Festival are coming to Zagreb! 10 days of pure enjoyment is about to begin

Season festivals are knocking on the door and so are Burger Festival and Street Art Festival in Zagreb. For 10 days, from September 7th until 17th, locals and visitors will be able to enjoy one of the most awaited festivals of the year at Franjo Tuđman Square. 

Burger Festival, this year’s 8th edition, is one of the biggest street food festivals in the region which offers something for everyone, whether you are a meat lover, plant-based, or just looking for something sweet. Besides Zagreb, they are also present in Varaždin, Pula, and from this year in Zadar as well.

What can you expect at Burger Festival Zagreb?

Food Offer

At the Burger Festival Zagreb, for 10 days you will be able to visit 20 different burger stands and try the best of the best. At this year’s festival,  4Burgers, Chefs Burger by Ivan Pažanin, Institut za burgere by Mate Janković, Bistro Funk, Picnic Mingle & Fun, Full Circle by Marko Palfi, Hidden Wine bistro by Deni Srdoč, Burger Jam, Burger Bar, Submarine, Boogie Lab, Beg’s Plant Based Street Food, Mrs. Fogg, Pommes, Bite of Fun by Melkior, Luxury Gelato Pri suncu, Gingle Bells, Central bar, and Rockmark will present their culinary skills.

Along with such good food comes the best signature cocktails, chilled beer, and top wine.

Concerts and activities

Throughout 10 days, visitors of the Burger Festival will be entertained by  DJ Jazzozo, DJ Luigi, Robert Mareković, DJ Stanko Bondža, and DJ Luka Deluxe,  and five live concerts:

• September 7. –  Songkillers, 
• September 8. –  Vatra
• September 9. –  Kuzma & Shaka Zulu,
• September 13. –  Bolesna brača,
• September 17. – Ida Prester and Lollobrigida

The organizers also made sure to prepare all sorts of activities such as silent cinema, and culinary workshops where you will be able to learn how to prepare burgers and cocktails of all kinds. Next to all these adult activities, they prepared some for kids as well. Little ones will have the opportunity to join daily creative workshops from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. during the week, and over the weekend from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., enjoy bungee and regular trampoline, and all sorts of other educational activities with Feshta by Ziva.

What can you expect at the Street Art Festival Zagreb?

This year’s first edition of the Street Art Festival will happen as part of the Burger Festival, at which 165 artists from 33 countries, such as South Korea, Iran, Trinidad and Tobago, and Colombia, together with local ones will present their artwork and participate in live panel painting.

During the festival, visitors will be able to go on a free art tour, art workshops for making stickers, attend presentations on printing graphics in linocut, make stencils, and screen-printing a T-shirt themselves.
