St. Vitus invites all citizens to two days of pairing wine, food, and fun at the first RIJEKA UNDERGROUND
This weekend, July 12 and 13, RIJEKA UNDERGROUND, the first underground gastro-enology Wine & Walk festival, is taking place in the Tunnel RI in Rijeka!
It is an opportunity to combine more than 100 Croatian wines and delicacies in a 350-meter-long tunnel, which on this occasion will become the largest underground tavern in Croatia.

The organizers have prepared a rich program of entertainment led by the group KINGS, which will fill Rijeka’s underground with the music of Joe Cocker, Tina Turner, Dina Dvornik, Prljavi kazalište, Haustor, and many others.
The patron of the city of Rijeka and all winemakers and cellarmen Sv. Vitus, which was excellently interpreted by the famous Rijeka entertainer Davor Jurkotić.
“While the heat is hell outside, an earthly paradise awaits you in the Tunnel Ri at a comfortable 20 degrees, and everyone who comes this weekend has my full blessing and protection to enjoy wine, entertainment, and delicacies,” said St. Vitus, next to whose church in Rijeka is the entrance to the center of hedonism and a special atmosphere.

According to the organizers, in addition to wine and delicacies, all visitors can expect an exhibition of future winemaking as imagined by artificial intelligence, lots of fun laughter, and positive energy.
The Tunnel Ri will be light-painted in Croatia’s blue and green colors for the festival. At the entrance, each visitor will receive an original UNDERGROUND glass as a gift and a mini catalog, which will contain a convenient QR code with which visitors can win an extended weekend for two at the Hotel Kurija Janković from Kapela Dvor or dinner for two at the wine bistro Hidden in Rijeka.

Tickets can be purchased in advance in the EVENTIM system at prices of 25 euros for the times from 14:00 to 16:30 and 30 euros for the times from 17:00 to 19:30.You will be able to buy tickets at the entrance on Friday the 12th and Saturday the 13th of July. The working hours of the festival are from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
