Annual international jumping in Pliva waterfall

Not long ago we talked about Pliva Waterfall, its role in the city of Jajce, and the legend behind it, but did you know that there is an annual international competition for jumping into this 50.000 years old waterfall?

Pliva Waterfall is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the region and is known for its breathtaking beauty and serene surroundings. To acknowledge its importance, every year Jajce Tourist Board with its partners organizes a ton of different events that brings people from all over the world and region together

One such event is also the 8th edition international jumping in Pliva waterfall. There are two parts to this event, one is a competition part in which jumpers use the “swallow” style, and in the exhibition part, they will perform in freestyle.

In this exciting event, which will happen this year on Saturday,  August 12th,  jumpers from the whole region will test out the 20-meter-high waterfall.
