Nuevo deluxe resort – a water world for pleasure and relaxation

There is a lot of talk about Albania this summer, so I wanted to make sure how accurate the information is about well-maintained beaches and great hotels. The first hotel I visited was the Nuevo deluxe resort in Shëngjin, on the coast of the Adriatic Sea, about 38 kilometers from Lake Skadar.

Nuevo deluxe resort is pretty new facility built a few years ago, after all, like many other facilities in Shëngjin. It is extremely easy to find it as it is located, somewhat isolated, at the very entrance to the town. There are enough parking spaces, and the resort is separated from curious views by carefully arranged vegetation.

At first, I immediately noticed the modern building and the large complex of swimming pools with slides that beckoned me to have a blast myself. There are luxurious and comfortable deckchairs with umbrellas around the pool, and the water is crystal clear and meticulously maintained.

The six slides are a story on it own, and it’s really a great pleasure to go down them. They really add value to this resort, even if you don’t dare to go down with it. It is extremely pleasant to lie on deckchairs and watch people fill up with adrenaline and smile with satisfaction as they rush down the slide and immerse themselves in a pleasantly cooled pool.

Next to the water complex, there is also a nicely decorated pool bar that offers cold drinks and excellent cocktails, and you can treat yourself to the sounds of modern music and fine ice cream or sips of coffee like I did. Don’t worry, the prices are normal! 🙂

The accommodation in the hotel is excellent, it is categorized with four stars, and I would like to praise the spacious rooms and beds on which you can sleep great. The cleanliness is exceptional everywhere, and I also liked the indoor bar chilled just enough for a pleasant feeling.

I liked the Nuevo deluxe resort so much that I didn’t leave it at all for a whole day. I had lunch there and breakfast the next morning before continuing my journey. The food was very tasty, the service young and helpful, and the interior exceptional and harmonious. In addition to the restaurant, the hotel also has its pizzeria, but this time I did not have the opportunity to try one. Sadly my stomach was full! 🙂

The resort has a lot of interesting things to explore that I didn’t manage to visit in one day, I also noticed the massage chairs at the reception, and this great mirror in the hotel toilet caught my eye. At first, I didn’t take a picture of it, but then I went back to do it anyway. Just as I will do again when the road takes me back to Albania.
