Crnojevica River
With its attractive surroundings, the Crnojevica river (Rijeka Crnojevića) will impress you at first glance. It is 12.3 kilometers long, rises at the foot of Obod, and flows into Lake Skadar. You can reach it from Podgorica, Cetinje or Virpazar.
Getting off the main road through a winding, typically Montenegrin landscape, which alternates between sharp stones, diverse lush vegetation, terraced arable land, with a few houses, and the views that extend towards the depth of Lake Skadar, will give you the impression that you are in the middle of filming an epic film and that you are the main actor.
Crnojevica river can boast of exceptional construction facilities. One of them is the stone Danilov Bridge, which was built by Prince Danilo in 1853 in memory of his father Stanko Petrović. Next to the bridge, on the left bank of the river, he built a one-story house known as Mostina, which has been preserved to this day. The bridge served as a link between the town and the city.
Walking through the town, you will notice several local restaurants. Be sure to taste Njeguši and lake specialties, take a walk to Obod Cave, or take a boat, kayak, or bike ride.
