In just 11 minutes from Kotor to Lovćen

The long-standing dream of a cable car that will connect Kotor, which is located in the Boko Kotar Bay at sea level, and the Lovćen mountain is about to become a reality. If you are planning a visit to Montenegro this summer, then know that this cable car will be ready by July 13 and then ceremonially put into operation.

 

The cable car will be 3,918 meters long, with a capacity of 1,000 passengers per hour, and will have 40 gondolas, while the travel time will be 11 minutes. The route starts from the location of Dub, in the immediate vicinity of the Vrmac tunnel in Kotor, all the way to the location of Kuk on Lovćen. This unique coastal-mountain cable car will offer a spectacular view of Boka, the nearby mountains, and the sea.

According to the announcement by the concessionaire, the price of the return ticket will be 20 euros for tourists and 15 euros for citizens of Montenegro. This is a truly unique opportunity for excitement and good fun. Shall we go?

As announced by the officials, the Kotor-Lovcen cable car will officially start operating on August 14th and the ticket price will be as following:
