Kujundziluk! What is that?
In the center of the Old Town, you can enjoy the oldest area of Mostar – Kujundžiluk (the old bazaar), a gracefully cobbled street from the middle of the 16th century, which is still home to characteristic artisan shops and traditional restaurants.
In the past, it was the lifeblood of the trade of the entire region, and during the Ottoman Empire, it counted more than 500 shops. Despite the changes that come with time, this street has kept its authentic physiognomy – certainly, it is characterized by mosques and small shops – and to this day, it has preserved some of its characteristic crafts, such as manual copper processing and carpet weaving.

Along with the Stari most, the main character in the story of the whole neighborhood, the old bazaar represents a suggestive cross-section of architecture and, at the same time, everyday life in Mostar, which is represented by the vibrancy of shops, small restaurants (where you can enjoy excellent traditional cuisine) and crowded cafes, so much so characteristic of the local atmosphere.
