1. LASTOVO – THE SILENCE YOU NEED TO HEAR

Lastovo is one of the most remote inhabited islands in Croatia, but it is precisely this distance that makes it special. It is part of the Lastovo Archipelago Nature Park, which means that nature here has remained untouched – dense pine forests, a clear underwater world, and a sky full of stars. It is ideal for lovers of peace, nature, and authentic island experiences. You can dive in the crystal-clear sea, explore hidden coves, walk along the old stone streets of Lastovo, and taste local specialties such as local fish and lamb. The perfect place for a “digital detox” and to recharge your batteries.

2. MURTER – AN ISLAND WITH A SOUL, THE GATEWAY TO THE KORNATI

Located near Šibenik, Murter is an island connected to the mainland by a bridge, making it easily accessible. Despite this, it has retained a relaxed, homely character. On Murter you will find beautiful beaches like Slanica, natural coves for solitude, as well as fishing villages like Betina and Jezera with a rich maritime tradition. In addition to swimming, you can take a boat trip to the Kornati National Park – one of the most spectacular archipelagos in the Mediterranean.

Murter is the perfect blend of natural beauty and local charm.

3. MALI LOŠINJ – THE ISLAND OF HEALTH, LONG WALKS, AND DOLPHINS

Mali Lošinj is known for its healthy climate, medicinal herbs, and aromatic pine forests surrounding the island. If you are looking for a wellness holiday, this is the ideal destination – numerous promenades, bike paths, and bays with clear waters provide the perfect backdrop for relaxation. The town of Mali Lošinj charms with its Mediterranean architecture, and nearby is Veli Lošinj, a picturesque town ideal for evening walks. Also, visit the Dolphin Research Center because, yes, you can often see these charming inhabitants of the Adriatic here. And when you get hungry, fresh fish, olive oil, and a glass of Lošinj wine await.

4. VIS ISLAND – WHERE TIME GOES BACKWARD (IN THE BEST POSSIBLE WAY)

Vis is an island where time moves more slowly. Closed to tourism until the late 1980s due to its military importance, it remains one of the most authentic Croatian islands today. With two main bases – the towns of Vis and Komiža – it offers a unique blend of history, untouched nature, and local lifestyle. Be sure to visit Stiniva beach (declared one of the most beautiful in Europe), take a trip to Blue Cave, the island of Sveti Andrija (Svetac) and Brusnik, and enjoy specialties such as Vis and Komiža pogača. If you want to go to the market in the morning and wine straight from the vineyard in the evening, Vis is the place for you.

Vis is not for rushing. Life here is slow – and that is its superpower.

5. TRPANJ – A HIDDEN CORNER OF PELJEŠAC

On the northern side of Pelješac lies Trpanj – a small fishing village with a big heart. Here you will find pebble beaches, healing mud springs, and an excellent gastronomic offer – clams, mussels, oysters, and, of course, Pelješac wines such as Dingač and Plavac Mali. Trpanj is perfect for families, couples, and all those who want to experience what it is like to spend their summers like a local, without the crowds and stress.

What makes it special? Blace Bay – a natural health resort with black mud that supposedly cures rheumatism and skin diseases. Ideal for recovering body and mind. There are also local winemakers, olive oil, fresh oysters, and silence.
