This is the longest beach on the Adriatic!
Long Beach, as its name suggests, is veeeeery long, that is, it is the longest beach on the Adriatic, stretching from the mouth of the Bojana river to Port Milena near Ulcinj (Montenegro). It is 13 kilometers long, about 60 meters wide, and the beach and seabed are covered with fine sand.
Someone calculated that 150,000 bathers fit on the beach, and the local population claims that the sand on the beach is rich in minerals and has healing properties. The beach is extremely popular among tourists, so it is not surprising that the New York Times included it in the short circle of the greatest tourist destinations for 2010.
The characteristic of the beach is that it has a long shallow strip, so you have to move quite far from the shore to swim in the deeper part. One of the main activities in the last few years is Kitesurfing, because almost every day there are ideal winds for kitesurfing and related water sports.

In addition to tourists, all those who want to unite with untouched nature come to Long Beach (mng. Velika plaža), waiting every day for the most beautiful sunsets and its entry into the blue sea.
