Prenj, located in the northern part of Herzegovina, belongs to the Dinaric Mountains, one of the most famous mountain ranges in the Balkans. This area is characterized by karst relief, rich in peaks, plateaus, and valleys.

The highest peak of Prenj is Zelena glava, which reaches 2,115 meters above sea level, while other famous peaks such as Otiš and Lupoglav are a challenge for mountaineers. Thanks to its height and variety of landscapes, Prenj is considered one of the most beautiful and demanding mountains in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Prenj also hides many natural attractions that take your breath away. One of the most famous is Boračko Lake, located on the northern slopes of the mountain, about 20 kilometers from Konjic. This glacial lake attracts visitors with its emerald green color and rich forest surroundings. It is ideal for camping, swimming, and relaxing in nature.

In addition to the lake, Prenj is also known for numerous mountain springs and smaller lakes, which are real pearls hidden in the heart of the mountain. Some of these springs serve as drinking water for mountaineers. Speleologists can also explore numerous caves and underground tunnels in this karst area.
