Join Julian Alps Trail Run 2023

If you love running in nature then we got a perfect place for you to be in September. Get ready to join runners from all over the world on an adrenaline adventure across the Julian Alps, a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts.

Lace-up your sneakers, prepare your outfits and water bottles, and head to Julian Alps Trail Run by UTMB on Kranjska Gora from September 8th-10th.

Besides the adrenaline, this event also brings a totally different experience and view of the lovely Lake Jasna, picturesque Soča river, peaceful Lake Bled, historic Kobarid, challenging Karawanks, magical Triglav National Park, and of course, the majestic Julian Alps.

 

 

Julian Alps Trail Run by UTMB is the biggest Slovenian trail running event and is a part of the elite trail running world series – UTMB® World series which connects many trails all around the world. This year they are organizing their 5th edition already, and the greatest thing about this event is that you get to choose your trail based on your experience. There is something for everyone.

 

If you are a beginner you can choose between:

  • Funny Trail – 10 kilometers – start in Kranjska Gora
  • Speed Trail –  15 kilometers – start in Kranjska Gora
  • Kranjska gora Trail – 25 kilometers – start in Kranjska Gora

And if you are a professional you can choose between:

  • Sky Trail – 60 kilometers – starts in the village of Žirovnica
  • Ultra Sky Trail – 100 kilometers – starts in Radovljica
  • I Feel Slovenia Ultra Trail Julian Alps – 170 kilometers – start in Kobarid

If you are planning to apply for the Julian Alps Trail Run, you need to know that runners can only register until August 24th or until all the spots are filled. As we hear from the organizers, there are only a few spots left for each trail so make sure your sign up today!
