Kozjak Waterfall is located above the emerald-green Soča River, in northwestern Slovenia. It is 15 meters high and is located in an impressive natural “room” made up of high, dark rocks covered with limestone sediments, creating the impression of a hidden corner of paradise. Its isolation and natural setting make it special compared to other waterfalls.

It was formed by the erosive action of the Kozjak stream, which rises below the Krnčica mountain at an altitude of 2,142 meters. The stream passes through several pools and six waterfalls, two of which are accessible to visitors: Big Kozjak (15 m) and Little Kozjak (8 m). Its emerald pool, into which the waterfall descends, makes it incredibly photogenic and attractive to all lovers of natural beauty.
