One of the world’s biggest music sensations, the Black Eyed Peas, is coming Zagreb

Zagreb and Croatia are once again entering the global music league this summer. On Friday, 26 June, Lake Bundek becomes the stage for one of the biggest music events of the year, as one of the greatest musical sensations of all time, Black Eyed Peas, take the stage at the Lollipop summer spectacle.

This is a concert that goes beyond a classic live performance. It is a cultural moment, an urban gathering, and a summer spectacle without precedent, created by the Croatian yet internationally recognised music brand Lollipop, known for the most demanding productions and the most visited open-air events in the region. After Sean Paul thrilled visitors from all over the world at Jarun last year, Lollipop is taking a step further this year.

“After the successfully organised Sean Paul concert, our goal was to continue producing major concerts. Since Black Eyed Peas are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year and fans have long been wishing for their return, we decided they were the perfect choice. The process was demanding, with a lot of coordination, details, and checks on both sides, which is expected for a project of this scale,” stated the Lollipop team, adding, “For Lollipop, this is a breakthrough and confirmation that domestic production can operate at a world-class level. Concerts like this further position Zagreb as a serious concert destination and increase Croatia’s visibility on the international scene.”

Black Eyed Peas are not just one of the most successful bands of the modern era. They are a global cultural phenomenon that has redefined the boundaries of pop music, urban culture, and the mainstream. Since their formation in Los Angeles in 1995, will.i.am, Apl.de.Ap and Taboo have continuously pushed the limits of sound, style, and message, creating music that conquers dance floors, radio airwaves, and social awareness at the same time.

Their breakthrough in the early 2000s with the album Elephunk marked a new chapter in pop music history. Songs like “Where Is The Love?” were not only commercial hits but also powerful social statements, positioning Black Eyed Peas as a band with a clear vision and attitude. Albums Monkey Business and The E.N.D. followed, cementing their status as global superstars through record-breaking sales, sold-out tours and timeless hits such as “I Gotta Feeling”, “Boom Boom Pow”, and “Meet Me Halfway”.

Throughout their career, they have won six GRAMMY® Awards, sold more than 35 million albums and 120 million singles, and became the second best-selling artist group of all time in digital downloads according to Nielsen data. Billboard ranked them among the most important artists of the decade, while their historic halftime performance at Super Bowl XLV in 2011 further confirmed their iconic status. After the peak of their career came a period of silence, during which the band members focused on solo projects, film, television, humanitarian work, and personal challenges. A particularly powerful story is that of Taboo, who overcame cancer in 2014 and described his return to the stage with Black Eyed Peas as a second chance at life.

The last time we were this clear was in 1995, when we formed the group,” said will.i.am, adding: “There was space for us. There was a path. We used moments in culture and history to make an impact in 2003 with Elephunk and in 2009 with The E.N.D. Now we are looking to the future. What is the focus of the next ten years? For us, it is acting with a clear purpose in society.”

Their comeback marked a new, more mature and creatively bold phase. The album TRANSLATION confirmed their ability to remain relevant in an entirely new musical paradigm, led by the megahit “RITMO (Bad Boys For Life)”, which surpassed one billion streams and views, overtook even the legendary “I Gotta Feeling” on Spotify, and opened the door to a strong Latin and global sound. Collaborations with artists such as Shakira, J Balvin, Maluma, Ozuna, David Guetta, and Daddy Yankee further strengthened their status as a global mega group.

Today, Black Eyed Peas are a band that connects generations, continents, and cultures. Their concerts are not merely performances but energetic, production-rich, and emotionally charged events that celebrate unity, optimism, and the power of music.

In recent years, Lollipop has established itself as one of the strongest music brands in Croatia, synonymous with top-level production, global artists, and an unforgettable atmosphere. The arrival of Black Eyed Peas is a natural continuation of that story, ambitious, bold, and fully aligned with the brand’s DNA.

Summer 2026 in Zagreb begins earlier than ever with dance, energy, and a spectacle that will be remembered for a long time.
