The first SPLIT UNDERGROUND has finished. Who will go to Hotel Nomad in Bjelašnica for an extended weekend?

What a weekend it was! Even today, the whole of Dalmatia is buzzing about the first underground wine & walk festival SPLIT UNDERGROUND, which brought 1,500 visitors to the sold-out cellars of Diocletian’s Palace and returned hedonism to where it belongs! The organizers of the festival are the specialized information portal for entertainment, leisure, and travel ADRIA.FUN and the company  Media desk d.o.o. and Voice of media d.o.o.

Visitors tasted more than 200 Croatian wines and spirits and enjoyed performances by Zorica Andrijašević and Ružica Čović.

At the festival, we also collected humanitarian contributions for the Split Association Srce, our thirst was quenched with Leda water, and we filled our stomachs with various delicacies.

There was also Photo Booth Makarska and Mirror4event, where many people took pictures and had fun and then shared their pictures and videos on social networks.

And we also received praise for the winemaking exhibition of the future, which was placed in a special part of the cellar.

All visitors who bought tickets could participate in a creative giveaway for the duration of the festival, in which the main prize is a free extended weekend at Hotel Nomad in Bjelašnica near Sarajevo.

Namely, in the mini-catalog, which we handed out at the entrance to the basements of Diocletian’s Palace, there was a QR code that led to our landing page where you had to rate the exhibitors and at the same time creatively describe why your choice was for that particular exhibitor.

We received answers from almost 250 visitors, who tried their best to make the job of the three-member jury difficult with their imaginative descriptions.

After a long deliberation, the jury decided that the main prize was given to the following description!

Enthusiastic faces of visitors, as well as exhibitors, and an exceptional visit are a sign that we succeeded in creating a new center of hedonism and entertainment in the center of Split from the first attempt.

However, visitors of SPLIT UNDERGROUND were not only from Split, but also from many other cities in the wider area, such as Šibenik, Dubrovnik, Karlovac, Rijeka, Zagreb, Slavonski Brod, Osijek, but also from Slovenia, Germany, Serbia, Montenegro, Ukraine, France , Austria, Italy, Spain, Iceland and even the USA, Canada and Australia. More than 20% of visitors were foreigners.
