Anticipation builds as Salajland is set to open its doors any day now

December is right around the corner, and as we’ve delved into Christmas markets and festivities across Slovenia, including the Winter Fest in Kotor and the Festival of Lights in Sarajevo, there’s one particular attraction that stands out, adding to the festive spirit alongside Advent in Zagreb and other cities. And that is renowned Salajland!

The history of this enchanting place traces its roots back to 2001 when Zlatko Salaj, the owner of the estate, embarked on a mission to create a Christmas miracle that he didn’t have a chance to experience in his childhood. After spending numerous years working abroad, he returned home and invested his resources into a heartwarming tale that captivates and excites everyone year after year.
