Your journey first leads you to Bovec, where Boka rises as the highest waterfall in Slovenia. The upper drop is around one hundred and five meters high, and the lower one adds another thirty, bringing the total to more than one hundred and thirty meters. It is especially impressive in spring when melting snow increases the water flow. A few kilometers away lies Virje, a waterfall about five meters high, wide, and emerald in color, whose cold water comes from underground streams of the Kanin massif.
When you head toward Kranjska Gora, Peričnik awaits you. Its lower drop is twenty-seven meters high, with a smaller one above it. It is known for allowing people to walk behind its water curtain, which makes it a unique experience. Nearby are the upper and lower Martuljek waterfalls, with a combined height of around one hundred meters, hidden in narrow gorges below the Spik massif.

In Bohinj, the story of water continues. Savica is the most famous Slovenian waterfall and is around seventy-eight meters high. It is recognizable by its shape, which resembles the letter V, and by its proximity to Lake Bohinj. Grmečica, a few kilometers away, is around seven meters high and located in a narrow gorge filled with turquoise water, making it visually striking.
In the east, in the Logar Valley, Rinka awaits you, almost ninety meters high. Above it stands a viewpoint overlooking the entire valley. Further north, near Kobarid, is Kozjak, which rises to around 15 meters. It is located in a unique stone amphitheater that gives it the appearance of a natural hall.

Near Bled, you will find the Šum waterfall, around thirteen meters high, located at the very end of Vintgar, the most famous Slovenian gorge. The Radovna River carved a narrow passage here, and the wooden bridges and walkways around it create one of the most recognizable scenes in the region.
At the end of the journey stands Čedca in Jezersko, which was once the highest Slovenian waterfall with a drop of more than one hundred and fifteen meters. After part of the cliff collapsed, a smaller stream remained, but it still clearly shows how alive and changeable the mountain landscape is.
